John Jacob Boltze;aged 79 years;well known painter of Belle Vernon;died Sunday morning;July 27;1941;at 6 a.m. after a lingering illness. Mr.Boltze for almost a generation has been a community figure and anxious inquiries have been made for several weeks about his condition. He is survived by a daughter;Mrs.Catherine Athey of Belle Vernon;two sons;John of Pittsburgh;Arnold;of New Jersey;and two grandchildren. The remains will lie at rest in the Toner Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;until Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.;July 29;1941;when services will be conducted by Rev.P.F.Mundy of the Baptist Church of Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon cemetery. Harold R.Toner will be the funeral director in charge.
