Obituary

John J. Lyons,for the past eighteen years a member of the Pitttsburgh Steel company,died Friday night,February 20,1925,at 10:25 after an illness of several months.  For a number of years,Mr. Lyons had acted in the capacity of captain of police for the company.  He resided at Gibsonton. While Mr. Lyons had been ailing,he had not been confined to his home and was able to be at the mill on Thursday of this week,but some time during the day,he suffered a relapse from which he did not recover. The deceased is survived by a widow and one married daughter,now a resident of Liberty,N.Y.,formerly Miss Vivian Lyons,a teacher in the Monessen public schools.
