John H. Jack Gaskill Jr.; 90; of Roscoe; formerly of Fayette City; died Wednesday; Jan. 8; 2003; at the residence of his cousin Sara McMasters. He was born Dec. 9; 1912; in Speers; the son of the late John H. Sr. and Elizabeth Davis Gaskill. He was a veteran of World War II; having served with the U.S. Army. Survivors include his cousins; Sara and Lester McMasters of Roscoe; with whom he made his home; Ruth and John Miller of Belle Vernon; David and Anita McMasters of Roscoe; Robert and Sue McMasters of Selma; Ala.; Art and Lexine Tanski of Virginia Beach; Va.; and Cheryl and Leonard Morrow of Lexington; S.C. Friends will be received Friday at the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; 334 Main St.; Fayette City; from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday; Jan. 11; until 11 a.m.; the hour of services in the funeral home with the Rev. Wayne Boring officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
