John H. (Jack) Kelley;76;of Belle Vernon;died Tuesday;Sept.16;1997;in Mon Valley Hospital after a short illness. He was born Feb.19;1921;in Donora;a son of the late John H.and Mary Kinnear Kelley. Protestant by faith;he was a retired auto worker from the Fisher Body Works in West Mifflin. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Western Pennsylvania Firemen’s Association;the Fayette County Firemen’s Association and the Southwestern Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs Association. Survivors include his wife;Gladys Spiker Kelley;with whom he had celebrated 50 years of marriage last week;two daughters;Donna Kaye Kelley of Swissvale and Sandra Lee Kelley Josson of Belle Vernon;and one granddaughter;Amy Elise Josson. Friends will be received in the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home Inc.;Fayette City;on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Saturday until 11 a.m.;where funeral services will be held with the Rev.Don Bowers of the First United Methodist Church;Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Eley/McCrory Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
