John Fred Allen;64;of Fellsburg;Belle Vernon;R.D.1;died Sunday;May 27;1973;at 4:15 p.m. in McKeesport Hospital. Mr.Allen was born at Allen’s Crossroads;Rostraver Twp.;on January 10;1909. He was a retired employee of U.S.Steel’s Donora Works and was a partner in the Allen Coal Co. His parents were the late Robert F.and Allie S.Allen. He was a member of Fellsburg United Methodist Church. Surviving are one son;Fred C.Allen of Fellsburg;Belle Vernon;R.D.1;one daughter;Mrs.Ronald (Suzie) Quinto of Fellsburg;Belle Vernon;R.D.1;one brother;Robert F.Allen and two sisters;Mrs.Jean Goff and Mrs.Mary Johnson;all three of Belle Vernon;R.D.2;and two grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Stump Funeral Home;Rostraver Twp.;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.today. Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m.at the funeral home with the Rev.Kent Lighthall;pastor of Fells United Methodist Church;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
