John Fidnarik,Sr.,aged 74,of Fairhope,died Friday morning,July 29,1955,at 2:05 o'clock in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Born in Czechoslovakia,the deceased was a member of St. Edward R.C.Church,Fayette City. Surviving are two sons, John Jr.,of Gilespie,and Joseph of Bloomfield, N.Y.;four daughters,Mrs. John (Anna) Wozniak of Arnold City,Mrs. Lawrence (Peggy) Happe,of Bloomfield and Mrs. Mae Krivda and Mrs. Louis (Kathryn) Hegedus,both of Fairhope; a brother, Joseph of Indianola,Neb.10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Melenyzer-Ferguson Funeral Home,Broad avenue,Belle Vernon,where visiting hours will be from 1 to 5 and from 7 to 10 p.m. Brief funeral services will be held Monday,Aug. 1,at 9 a.m. from the funeral home,with additional services to follow at 9:30 from St. Edward's R.C.Church,Fayette City. Rev. Charles W. Ribick will officiate at Requiem High Mass. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L. Melenyzer and Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral directors.
