Obituary

A 61-year-old Pricedale man was found dead in his home on Brown street, Pricedale, early Tuesday morning, December 13,1955.  The deceased, identified as John Feduk, apparently died of natural causes, according to Rostraver Township Constable Harry Weightman, who found the body.  However, the case has been referred to Westmoreland County Acting Coroner Howard Bud Thomas.  Mr. Feduk, a veteran employee of the Pittsburgh & West Virginia Railroad, was last seen alive on Sunday.  Weightman investigated when it was learned the Mr. Feduk's door was locked and there was no response from within.  The constable entered Mr. Feduk's room and found the man stretched out on the floor.  He apparently had rolled out of bed just before he died.  It was believed that death occurred Sunday night,Weightman said, possibly as the result of a heart attack.  Mr. Feduk, who has no known survivors, was born in Russia on Oct. 9,1886.  Friends will be received at the Melenyzer-Ferguson Funeral Home, Broad avenue, Belle Vernon, where funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 15,at 2 p.m.   Rev. Gregory Soroka, pastor of the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church,in Charleroi, will officiate.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Charles L. Melenyzer and Shelby D.
