John F. Mackey of 1382

a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital
following a sudden illness. He
was 83.
Mr. Mackey was born April
29; 1897; in Washington Twp.;
Fayette County; a son of the
late Charles and Adolphina
Palomaki Mackey.
A retired coal miner; he
was a member of Lynnwood
Lutheran Church.
Mr. Mackey was a World
War I veteran having served
with the U S Army.
Survivors include his
widow; Vilma Mackey; and
two sisters; Mrs Edward
(Elma ) Shramko of
Philadelphia; Pa.; and Mrs.
Larry (Rachel) Palomaki of
Phoenix; Ariz.
Friends will be received in
the Howard W. McCrory
Funeral Home; Fayette City;
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p m. Saturday and all day Sunday. Visitation Monday will be held in Lynnwood Lutheran Church;Belle Vernon;from noon until 1 p.m.;the time of service. Pastor Hartzell A.Michael will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
