Obituary

John F.Kyle,72,of 343 Hill St.,Belle Vernon,died Friday,Feb.12 at 8:20 p.m. in Mercy Hospital,Pittsburgh.He was a son of the late George P.Kyle Sr.and Germaine Castin Kyle. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church,Belle Vernon,Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659,Belle Vernon VFW Post 3557,3088th Bomb Group Assn.,and Fairhope Rod and Gun Club. He was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon. He retired in 1977 from the Blooming Mill of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Monessen plant. He served during World War II as a U.S.Army Air Corps Sergeant at the 2034th A.A.F.Base Unit in England. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by a brother,Robert,and a sister,Denise Paluso. He is survived by his wife Helen Bachrik Kyle,two sons,John F.Kyle Jr.of Wheeling,W.Va.,and Dennis L.Kyle,at home,four brothers,George P.Kyle Jr.of Belle Vernon,Eugene M.Kyle of Rockford,Ill.,Ralph Kyle of Richmond,Va.,and Charles L.Kyle,two sisters,Mrs.Grace Mustybrook and Mrs.Elmira Steer,both of Belle Vernon,and two grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. with the Dr.Thomas St.Clair officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
