John F.Anderson;85;of 207 Otto St.Belle Vernon;died Saturday;July 1;1995;at 10:33 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Born Feb.22;1910;in Shaner;he was a son of the late William and Elizabeth Wilson Anderson. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area;he was a member of the Hungarian Club of Pricedale and the Belle Vernon Moose Lodge. Mr.Anderson was retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;Monessen plant;where he worked as an electrician. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Elsie Round Anderson;who died May 28;1982. Survivors include one daughter;Mrs.Gordon (Patricia) Close of San Jose;Calif.;and two grandchildren;Sheldon Madson of Campbell;Calif.;and Clayton Madson of Corralitos;Calif. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev.Wayne R.Boring;pastor of First Christian Church of Fayette City;officiating.Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
