John E. Ted Kuhn;90;of Belle Vernon;died Friday;July 20;2001;in Jefferson Hospital. He was born Jan.11;1911;in Belle Vernon;a son of the late John and Elsie Aitken Kuhn. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon and was very active in civic affairs. He was known as Mr.Belle Vernon. He retired in 1976 after 48 years with the P&LE Railroad. Survivors include his wife of 68 years;Mary Pidanich Kuhn;one son and daughter-in-law;Edward G.and Janet Kuhn of Speers;one daughter and son-in-law;Mary Ann and Lawrence Dodds of Beaver;five grandchildren;Beth Ann Baran;Karen and her husband;Brad Myers;Jeffrey and his wife;Deborah Dodds;Scott and his wife;Richelle Dodds;and Jennifer and her husband;Steve Balachow; seven great-grandchildren; Rachel and Jessica Myers; Taylor and Trevor
Dodds; Riley and Mia Dodds
and Alexandra Balachow.
Friends will be received Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC.;

where funeral services will be
held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.
with the Rev. Dr. Frank DePolo; pastor of the Covenant
Christian Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will
