Obituary

John E. Galiotto,Jr.,of Belle Vernon R.D.5,died suddenly at 12:55 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5,1994,in Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Township. Mr. Galiotto was born Feb. 24,1943,in North Charleroi,a son of John and Lovella Hines Galiotto,both of whom survive and reside in Rostraver Township. He was employed as a steelworker at the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon.  He was a member of St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Rostraver Township. Surviving,in addition to his parents,are his wife, Bonnie Higgins Galiotto; two daughters,Tara Galiotto of Fairfax, Va.,and Amanda Galiotto of Belle Vernon; two sisters,Rosemarie Galiotto and Mrs. Robert (Beverly) Stewart,both of Greensburg and five brothers, Wesley Galiotto of West Newton,Joseph Timothy Galiotto of Charleroi,L. Paul Galiotto of Plesaant Hills, Calif.,Gene Galiotto of Greensburg and Randy Galiotto of Easton. Friends will be received Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home ,Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon.  A Prayer service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Rostraver Township.
