John E. Anthony,93, of 306 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Tuesday, Nov. 10,1964,at 2:30 p.m. at his late home. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Charleroi. Surviving are his widow, Nannie Newroth Anthony; two daughters, Mrs. John (Ida) Sloboda of Charleroi and Mrs. Dick (Elizabeth) Brightwell of Belle Vernon; three sons,Edward (Ed) Anthony of North Charleroi, John D. Anthony of Charlotte, N.C.,and Harry B. Anthony at home; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends are being received from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home in Belle Vernon. Service there Friday. Nov. 13,at 2 p.m. in charge of the Rev. Charles Zacher,pastor of the Christ Lutheran Church,Charleroi. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R,Toner,funeral director.
