Obituary
John Dudra Sr.,88,of 604 Center Ave.,North Charleroi,died at his home Tuesday,June 18,1968,at 12:30 a.m. after a lengthy illness. Mr. Dudra,who was born in Galicia,Poland,was a member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church and Slovak Citizens Club of Charleroi. A retired grocer,he had lived in the Valley for 50 years. Surviving are his widow, Eva Trembach Dudra;a son, John Jr. of Los Angeles, Calif.;two daughters, Mrs. Quentin (Eva) Yeager of Monongahela R.D. and Mrs. Gasper (Olga) Garofalo of Monessen;one brother,Emil of North Charleroi and eight grandchildren. A son, Peter.died in 1966. Friends are being received at the Michael A. Melinchak Funeral Home,Charleroi from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Short Prayer there Friday,June 21,at 9 a.m. followed by Divine Liturgy in Holy Trinity Orthodox Church,Charleroi,at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Vladimir Soroka,pastor, will officiate. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas service at the funeral home June 20 at 8 p.m. Michael A. Melinchak is funeral director.
