John D.Story;59;of the Myford Hotel;Charleroi;died Saturday;Aug.9;1969;in Veterans Hospital;Pittsburgh. Mr.Story was born in West Newton on Dec.20;1909;the son of the late Garfield and Mannie Pearl Story. A former resident of Gibsonton;Mr.Story had resided in Charleroi for the past seven years. He was employed at the Charleroi plant of Corning Glass Works and was a veteran of World War II;having served in the U.S.Army. Surviving are his wife;Mary;four sisters;Mrs.James (Dorothy) Steffey of Gibsonton;Mrs.William (Thelma) McNeil of Pittsburgh;Mrs.Thomas (June) Leone of Monessen;and Mrs.Dale (Betty) Williams of Gibsonton. Friends will be received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home;Monessen;with services there Monday;Aug.11;1969;at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Edwin Melenyzer is funeral director.
