John chicchiani,77,of Fayette City,died Tuesday, Dec. 3,1963 at 2:05 a.m. in Brownsville Hospital following a lengthy illness. A veteran of World War I, he was a retired coal miner and a member of St. Eusebius R.C. Church in Fayette City. Mr. Chicchiani was born in Italy on Sept. 1,1886. Surviving are his widow,Mary; two sons, John at home and Arthur Hazelbaker of Fayette City; one daughter, Mrs. Angelo (Margie) Leber of Rancho Cordova,Calif.; two brothers, Tony of Grindstone and his twin, Sutrano in Italy; three sisters in Italy and four grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeal Home in Fayette City,where Prayers will take place Friday,Dec.6,at 9:30 a.m. followed at 10 a.m. by Requiem Mass in St. Eusebius R.C.Church of Fayette City. The Rev. A.E. Kosnik will act as celebrant. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W. McCrory,funeral director.
