John B. Nicolette, 90,of 56 Highland St.,Belle Vernon,died in Charleroi-Monessen Hosptial Wednesday, April 17,1968,at 4:35 p.m. Born in Italy on Aug. 15,1877,he had lived in Belle Vernon over 50 years. Mr. Nicolette retired in 1945 from the P. & L. E. Railroad. He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon,and Garibaldi Lodge of Dunlevy. Surviving are his widow,Julia Bonasso Nicolette; six sons, Salvatore,Domenick,Frank,Joseph, John and Anthony, all of Belle Vernon; three daughters, Mrs. Cyril (Theresa) Brandini of Donora,Mrs. Frank (Angela) Giannetti of Monessen,and Mrs. Daniel (Jeannette) Loreski of Donora; a brother, Domenick of Lorain,Ohio;twenty grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,after 7 p.m.on April 18. Blessing service there Saturday,April 20,at 9:30 a.m. followed by Requiem High Mass in St. Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,at 10 a.m. The Rev. Martin J. O'Toole,pastor,will officiate. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson is funeral director.
