John August Larguier;aged 49 years;of 208 West Oliver Avenue;Duquesne;formerly of Belle Vernon;died Monday;February 28;1944;at 1:57 p.m.at his home. He was a veteran of World War One;serving in the U.S.Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Belle Vernon. Surviving are his mother;Mrs.Melina Larguier of Belle Vernon;his wife;Gertrude Fairington Larguier;of Duquesne;two sisters;Mrs.Samuel Daugherty of Belle Vernon R.D.and Mrs.Louis Camino of Belle Vernon and one brother;Henry;of the U.S.Navy in the Southwest Pacific. Friends will be received at the Melanyzer Funeral Home in Belle Vernon;where funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon;March 2;at 2 o’clock in charge of Rev.C.M.Coulter;pastor of the Rehoboth Presbyterian Church.
