John Andrew Shearin;81;of 133 Brown St.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;March 17;1963 at 5 a.m.in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mr.Shearin was born in Dunbar;Oct.5;1881;coming to Belle Vernon 25 years ago from Brownsville. A member of St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon;he was retired from the Monessen Plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co.in 1952. Surviving are his widow;Mary;a son;James E.;at home;two daughters;Mrs.Ernest (Jean) Shaffer of Brownsville and Mrs.Benedict (Virginia) Korte of Dearborn;Mich.;a brother;T.I.Shearin of Centerville;two sisters;Mrs.Violet Brown and Helen Shearin;both of Uniontown;five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held Tuesday;March 19;at 10 a.m.from St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon;with Rev.Andrew King officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
