John A.Roush;68;of 201 Shady Ave.;Charleroi;died Monday;Dec.20;1976 at 1:15 p.m. in the Charleroi Division of the Mon Valley Hospital. Mr.Roush was born in Newell;Pa.;June 11;1908;a son of the late John P.and Amanda Roberts Roush. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Charleroi and a veteran of World War II. Mr.Roush was a retired employee of the Sonafelt Construction Co.of Monessen. Survivors include his widow;Elizabeth Brown Roush;five daughters;Mrs.Frank (Mary) Manown and Mrs.Bruce (Joann) Smith;both of Belle Vernon;Mrs.John (Irene) Snyder of Newell;Mrs.Gerald (Barbara) Peters of Bentleyville and Mrs.John (Debra) Pilarcik of Seabrook;Tex.;one sister;Mrs.Mary Thomas of Uniontown;and seven grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Francis C.Slezak Funeral Home;Third St.and Fallowfield ave.;Charleroi;on Tues.;Dec.21;1976 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wed.;Dec.22;1976 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Thursday;Dec.23;1976 at 11 a.m. with the Rev.Francis M.Blair;officiating.
