John A. Dopler,aaged 70 years,resident of Belle Vernon,died suddenly Monday,November 4,1946,while visiting in Seneca,Mo. The family resided on Broad avenue extension. Mr. Dopler was a member of the St. Sebastian R. C. Church of Belle Vernon and the F.O. Eagles of Charleroi. He was formerly employed at the Donora plant of the American Steel & Wire company. Surviving are his wife,Catherine;a daughter,Kathryn,and six sons, Lawrence,of Monongahela,Lester of Charleroi,Alvin of Belle Vernon,Leo of Monessen,Edward of Charleroi,and John of Mingo Junction,Ohio;two brothers,George and Theodore,of Braddock;four sisters,Mrs. Elmer Resine of Hammond,Indiana,Mrs. John Speakman of Swissvale,Mrs. Theodore Hollis and Mrs. Herbert Rushe of Homestead. Ten grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home after Thursday,November 7. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning,November 9 at 10 a.m. at the St. Sebastian Church,with Father Eugene Harkins officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
