Obituary

John A.Kulik,57,of Rostraver Road,Belle Vernon,died Friday,Dec.15,2000,in Mon Valley Hospital. Born June 22,1943,in California,Pa.,he was a son of the late John and Eleanor Kovach Kulik. He was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon,a member and past president of the Fairhope Rod and Gun Club and headed the Sportsmen's Committee of that club. He was also a member of the Slavonic Citizens Club of Fayette City. A resident of Rostraver Township since 1980,he retired in February 2000 as a heavy equipment operator for Operations and Engineers Local #66 of Pittsburgh. Survivors include his wife of 34 years,Sheri Kostelac Kulik,a son,Richard S.Kulik at home,a daughter and son-in-law,Jodie Ann and Dennis Yoney of Chester Spring,Pa.,three sisters and two brothers-in-law,Sally and William Calloway,Eleanor J.Kulik,all of Belle Vernon,Mary Del and James Shaw of Anheim,Md.,two granddaughters,Alyse A.Yoney and Gabrielle M.Yoney, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. A Blessing service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.Donald Trexler,parochial vicar of St.Sebastian Church,officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
