John A.Kosik;83;of 1108 Browns St.;Belle Vernon;died Saturday;Jan.13;1973;at 6:40 p.m.in the Edgewood Nursing Home in Youngstown;Ohio. He was born in Poland Dec.8;1889;and was a resident of the Belle Vernon area for the last 60 years. He was a retired mine worker and a retired custodian for St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon. He was a member of St.Sebastian. He was preceded in death by his wife;Carolina Russell Kosik on May 22;1961. Surivivng are one son;Frank J.Kosik at home;two daughters;Mrs.William (Blanche) Sabo of Belle Vernon and Stella Kosik at home;two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 10 p.m.Monday and 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.Tuesday at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;where a prayer service will be held Wednesday;Jan.17;at 9:30 a.m.followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m.at St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon;with Msgr.Martin J.
