Obituary

John A. Klisowski of 103 Wilson St., Belle Vernon, died Friday,Dec.24,1982, at 9:37 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Twp. He was 62. Mr. Klisowski was born Oct. 17,1920, in Belle Vernon, a son of the late Paul and Katherine Kwoltkowski Klisowski. He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and The American Legion, both of Belle Vernon. Mr. Klisowski was also a member of the Citizens Association and the Hungarian Club, both of Priccdale. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, having served as a Petty Officer First Class fire controlman. Mr. Klisowski retired in 1980 from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp., where he had been employed as head roller in the No. 3 hot mill. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul in 1971 and Charles in 1976. Survivors include his widow,Mary Sellaro Klisowki,one daughter,Kathy L. at home,one sister,Mrs.Lloyd (Nell) Amprim of Belle Vernon,and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday,Dec.29,at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Church,Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director,is in charge of arrangements.
