John A.Harrington;Sr.;61;of 320 Fallowfield avenue;Charleroi;died in the Washington hospital;Thursday;May 14;1959;at 9:20 p.m. He was born in Greene County on Feb.24;1898;the son of Mr.and Mrs.Isaac Harrington. He was employed at the Allenport plant of the Pittsburgh Steel Company. He is survived by his wife;one son;John Jr.of Charleroi;a daughter at home;and two brothers;Isaac and Harry;both of Charleroi. Friends will be received at the Francis C.Slezak Funeral Home;Third street and Fallowfield avenue. Services will be held there Monday;May 18;1959;at 11 a.m.;in charge of Rev.Curtis Patterson. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Francis C.Slezak is the funeral director.
