John A.hall;80;of Allenport;died Sunday;May 23;1976;in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. He was born Oct.12;1895 in Farmington;Pa.;the son of the late George Washington and Anna Mary Struthers Hall. Mr.Hall was a retired employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp’s Allenport Plant after 40 years service. Two sons preceded him in death;Leroy Hall in 1935 and George Hall in 1971. Surviving are his wife;Annie Foster Hall;three sons;Howard of Akron;Ohio and John and Clell;both of Wantaugha;N.Y.;three daughters;Mrs.Raymond (Sis) Kent of Stockdale;Mrs.Thelma (Babe) Lazar of Charleroi and Mrs.Charles (Carol) Lazar of Allenport;18 grandchildren;14 great-grandchildren;and one brother;Clarence Hall of Akron. Friends will be received at the Ed Melenyzer Funeral Home Inc.;Roscoe;Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday May 26;1976 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev.Randy Kelley of the Church of the Nazarene;Stockdale;officiating. Burial will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ed Melenyzer Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
