Obituary

John A.Druciak,88,of Naomi,Fayette City R.D.,died Friday,Feb.16,2001,in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born Nov.14,1912,in Arnold City,a son of the late Joseph and Anna Duda Druciak. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church in Fayette City. He was a veteran of World War II,having served in the U.S.Army. He was also a member of Brightwell-Daugherty American Legion Post 484,Fayette City,Naomi Athletic Club and PNA Lodge No.976 in Arnold City. Mr.Druciak retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.,Allenport plant. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by a brother,Edward Druciak,and a sister,Mary Nutter. Survivors include his wife,Julia Sekora Druciak,a brother,Joseph Druciak of Naomi,Fayette City R.D.,three sisters,Adela Raymond of Naomi,Fayette City R.D.,Julia Menozzi of McKeesport and Genevieve Russell of Belle Vernon,and a sister-in-law,Dolores Sekora of Naomi,Fayette City R.D. Friends will be received at the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.,334 Main St.,Fayette City,on Sunday from noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Monday until 9:30 a.m.,when a Blessing service will take place. Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m.in the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church,Fayette City,with the Rev.Leonard McAlpin as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parish Wake service will be Sunday at 3 p.m.followed by American Legion Post 484 services Sunday at 7:30 p.m.at the funeral home.
