Joann S.Hrutkay Axton;49;of Coal Center R.D.1 died suddenly Monday;April 19;1993;in Brownsville General Hospital. She was born June 22;1943;in Brownsville. Mrs.Axton was a member of Stockdale Church of the Nazarene. She was employed as a licensed practical nurse at Mon Valley Hospital in Carroll Township. Survivors include her husband;Charles Axton;two sons;Charles Axton Jr.of Charleroi and Scott Thomas Axton at home;three daughters;Mrs.John (Cynthia) Zoppetti of Belle Vernon;Mrs.David (Darlene) Zoppetti of Fayette City R.D.and Rachell Lynn Axton of Roscoe;her father;Joseph Hrutkay of Bentleyville;her mother and stepfather;John and Stella Kalarcheck Faryna of Ellsworth;two brothers;Michael Faryna of Donora and Frank Faryna of Ellsworth;two sisters;Mrs.Gordon (Louise) Watkins of Speers and Mrs.Gary (Barbara) Hollier of Eighty Four;and three granddaughters;Alicia Marie Zoppetti;Kimberlee Nicole Telegraphis and Danielle Marie Zoppetti. Friends were received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;and until 11 a.m. Thursday when services will be held in the funeral home with the Rev.Elwood R.Vandiver;pastor of Stockdale Church of the Nazarene;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
