Joan Beaumont,63,of Charleroi,died Tuesday,March 3,1998,in Havencrest Nursing Center,Carroll Township. Mrs. Beaumont was born Aug.8,1934,in Cincinnati,Ohio,the daughter of the late Bogue and Artie Spoonamore. A member of the Charleroi Baptist Church,she was employed in Monongahela Valley Hospital as a laundry aide for 23 years. She is survived by her husband,Melvin Beaumont;two sons,Barry Beaumont and Kevin Beaumont, both of Charleroi;two daughters,Deidre Beaumont of Monessen and Valerie Gray of Courtney;four brothers,Robert Jensen of Ohio,Ronald Spoonamore of Ohio,Jerry Spoonamore of Ohio and James Spoonamore of Kentucky;one sister,Dolores Patterson of Ohio;and 12 grandchildren. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Rhome Funeral Hhome Inc.of Monessen,where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m.with the Rev. Mimidis presiding. The Rhome Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
