Obituary

Jimmie Junior Nichols,43,of Grindstone,was dead on arrival at Brownsville General Hospital Monday March 8,1971. He was born May 26,1927,in Pricedale,a son of James Nichols and the late Mrs.Anna Glasgow Nichols. A veteran of U.S.Army service during the Korean War,he was a retired employee of the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co. He was a member of Grindstone American Legion Post No.275 and the Grindstone Vol.Fire Dept. Survivors include his father,James,a brother,Robert L.of Hopwood,two sisters,Mrs.Louise Doyle of Grindstone and Mrs.Paul Conklin of Pitcairn. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,after 2 p.m.,Tuesday,where services will be conducted Thursday,March 11,1971, at 1:30 p.m.with Rev.Walter C.Herron of the Fayette City United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
