Jimmie Junior Nichols;43;of Grindstone;was dead on arrival at Brownsville General Hospital Monday March 8;1971. He was born May 26;1927;in Pricedale;a son of James Nichols and the late Mrs.Anna Glasgow Nichols. A veteran of U.S.Army service during the Korean War;he was a retired employee of the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co. He was a member of Grindstone American Legion Post No.275 and the Grindstone Vol.Fire Dept. Survivors include his father;James;a brother;Robert L.of Hopwood;two sisters;Mrs.Louise Doyle of Grindstone and Mrs.Paul Conklin of Pitcairn. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;after 2 p.m.;Tuesday;where services will be conducted Thursday;March 11;1971; at 1:30 p.m.with Rev.Walter C.Herron of the Fayette City United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
