Jill L. Layhue, 63, of Belle Vernon passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 22, 2016 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. A daughter of June McCrory Dunlap, who survives and resides in Belle Vernon, and the late Raymond Dunlap, she was born in N. Charleroi on April 10, 1953. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, she was a member of the Naomi Club and retired after 30 years of service from World Kitchen, formerly Corning Glass of Charleroi. Jill loved animals and was a supporter of the Humane Society. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include one son, Brian Layhue of Pittsburgh, his father, James Layhue of Belle Vernon, one brother and two sisters-in-law, Jeff and Gloria Dunlap of Canfield, OH and Barb (Jim) Lavender of Ohio, one brother-in-law, Jerry Layhue of Charleroi, one nephew, Mark (Krista) Dunlap of Canfield, OH, several cousins, including Lynn Haughton of Belle Vernon and a close friend, Greg Gladys of Belle Vernon. Jill is also survived by her beloved dog, Cooper, and her cat, Isabelle. Friends will be received 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. Saturday, October 29, 2016 in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc.
