Jesse J.Cramer;aged 44 years;died in the U.S.Veterans Hospital at Aspinwall;Pittsburgh;Wednesday evening;Oct.13;1937;at 10:45 o’clock;after an illness of five years. He was born Aug.2;1893;and had been a resident of Belle Vernon since 1924;residing at 123 State street. He was foreman in the Carnegie Steel Company plant;and was a member of Belle Vernon Legion Post No.659. He had served as a private in Company H.167th Infantry of the 42nd Division. He sailed for France;September 23;1918. Surviving are his wife;Mrs.Ronda Cramer;and twin sons;Joseph and James;12 years of age;his mother;Mrs.Eliza Cramer;of Elizabeth;Pa.;three sisters;Mrs.William Ludwick and Mrs.Bert Yates;of Elizabeth and Mrs.Clarence Kessler of Baltimore;Md.;and three brothers;Albert of Wilson;William and Charles;of Elizabeth. The body will be taken to his late home;128 State street;until Sunday morning;when it will be taken to the Toner Funeral Home;where military funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Services will be in charge of Rev.Sydney Gaffney of the Rehoboth Presbyterian Church;with interment to be made in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
