Jesse Mast, 87 of Fayette City, PA, passed away, Saturday, September 24, 2016 in the emergency room of Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born October 16, 1928 in Fayette City, PA, son of Alexander J Mast and Julia Ross Mast. Jesse was a veteran of the US Navy and retired from the former General Motors Fisher Body plant. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ann Skiles Mast; two daughters, Sharon Stonfer and husband Jack of Hershery, Pa. and Janice Murphy of Pittsburgh, Pa;,one son, Jesse A Mast and wife Andrea of Fayette City, Pa.; two sisters, Margaret Mast of Belle Vernon and Elizabeth Marathon of Silver Spring, MD.; six grandchildren, Eric, Adam and Ryan Stonfer, Kristie Pentrack, Kari Mast and Jesse S Mast; two great-grandchildren, Harper Stonfer and Gabriella Pentrack. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, George Mast; two sisters, Helen Driscoll and Florence Silva. Friends will be received Tuesday, September 27, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA. 724-326-5621, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 10:00 am with Elder Thomas Hamer officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, PA.
