Jesse G. Simpson,71,of Charleroi RD.1,died Wednesday, April 2,1969 in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital after a short illness. Mr Simpson was born in Pittsburgh,Jan. 27,1898,a son of the late Charles and Lucy (Locket) Simpson. He was a member of St. James A.M.E. Church in Charleroi. Survivors include his widow,Violetta Simpson and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the William R. Taylor Funeral Home,Monessen after 7 p.m. on Thursday and 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday with the Rev. H.F. Coffey officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. William R. Taylor, funeral director in charge.
