Jesse D.Case;aged 69;Superintendent of the Oil Well Tubing Department;Allenport plant;Pittsburgh Steel company;died suddenly at his home;425 Jones Street;Belle Vernon;Wednesday;January 21;1953;at 8:40 o’clock. He had been affiliated with the Pittsburgh Steel Company for the past 51 years and was honored by officials of the company last spring at a testimonial luncheon after completion of 50 years serving with the company. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Charleroi-Monessen Hospital;a past president of the Belle Vernon Rotary Club;a member of the Lutheran Reform Church;of Lehighton;Pa.and also of the Woodmen of the World. He is survived by his wife;Mrs.Clara Case;one son;Lewis;Charleroi;R.D.;and one daughter;Mrs.Gerald Schreiber;Pittsburgh;and one grandchild. Friends will be received at the late home. services will be held there Monday;January 26;1953;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.Vernon Bowers of the First Christian Church of Monessen. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon cemetery. Chas.L.Melenyzer and Shelby D.Ferguson are the funeral directors.
