Jennie Venneri of 1117 Henry St.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday March 4;1979 in West Penn Hospital;Pittsburgh. She was 80. Born in Italy on March 26;1898;she was the daughter of the late Josephine and Angeline Spadafore. A resident of Belle Vernon since she was five years old;Mrs.Venneri was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church of Belle Vernon and the Goodwill Club of Charleroi. She was preceded in death by her husband;Charles Venneri on March 28;1973. She is survived by two sons;William M.(Ducky) Venneri Sr.of Belle Vernon;former mayor of Belle Vernon;and Eugene V.(Vic) Venneri;also of Belle Vernon;one daughter;Mrs.George (Helen) Thieser of Charleroi;two brothers;Frank Spadafore of Monessen and Alfred Spadafore of Charleroi;seven grandchildren;and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon from 7 to 9 p.m.Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday. Prayer service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.in the funeral home;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Catholic Church. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
