Mrs. Jennie Spurlock,74,1218 Morgan Ave.,Monessen,died Friday,August 30,1957 at 9:30 a.m. at her home after a short illness. Mrs. Spurlock was a member of the Wayman A.M.E. Church,Monessen. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Annie Jones and Mrs. Maggie Carter of Monessen;a sister, Mrs. Martha McReynolds of Akron,Ohio;10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Draper Funeral home,Monessen,after 7 p.m. Aug. 31. Funeral home visiting hours are from 1 to 5 and 7 to 7 p.m. Services will be held Tuesday,Sept. 3,at 1 p.m. from the Wayman A.M.E.Church of Monessen. The Rev. Isaac Louden will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly Draper,funeral director.
