Obituary

Jennie Petrosky,67,of Fairhope,Belle Vernon,died at 10 p.m. Friday,Nov.27,1992,in her home after a lengthy illness. Mrs.Petrosky was born in Washington Township,a daughter of the late Walter Morycz and Sophia Materla Morycz,who survives and resides in Fairhope,Belle Vernon. A homemaker,she was at one time employed in the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. Mrs.Petrosky wa a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon,the Ladies Auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No.3557,Fairhope,and PNA Lodge No.976,Arnold City. Surviving in addition to her mother,are her husband,Peter (Pete) Petrosky,three sons,Robert Petrosky of Kittanning,Michael Petrosky of Atlanta,Ga.,and Charles Petrosky of Seattle,Wash.,one daughter,Mrs.Michael (Patricia) Tormey of Boston,Mass.,nine grandchildren,and two brothers,Henry and Bennie Morycz,both of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City. A prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home,followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. A Parish Rosary Service will be recited Monday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home. A Church wake service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
