Jennie M. (Goffoli) Chester; 86; of Monessen; died Thursday; April 3; 2003 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.; following a short illness. She was born Dec. 8; 1916 in Hanlin Station; Pa.; a daughter of the late Benjamin Goffoli and Josephine Ranallo Goffoli. Mrs. Chester was a resident of Monessen since 1934; and was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. She was an active member of the former St. Cajetan R.C. Church; and was an avid card player. She is survived by a sister; Edna Gallo of Weirton; W.V.; and by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her first husband George Guibourdanche; her second husband Carmen Chester; five brothers; Jack; July; Joseph; Christopher and Marion; and by three sisters; Elizabeth; Rosie and Mary. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc.; 441 Reed Ave.; Monessen. A blessing service will be held Monday; April 7; 2003 at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
