Mrs. Jennie McClain Bowen;75;died at the home of her daughter;Mrs.Ray Pro of 817 McKean Ave.;Charleroi;Thursday;June 14;1962;at 2:10 a.m. Born in Belle Vernon;May 19;1887;she was a daughter of the late Albert and Mary McClain. She lived in Belle Vernon until 1944 when she moved to Charleroi to live with her daughter. Mrs.Bowen was a member of the Loyal Women’s Class of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon. Her husband;John;a son;William;and a brother;Ray McClain preceded her in death. Surviving are her daughter;Mrs.Ray (Nora) Pro of Charleroi;one grandson;Albert Ward;and three granddaughters;Susan;Pamela and Leslie Rae;all of Columbus;Ohio. Friends will be received at the Michael A.Melinchak Funeral Home;Charleroi;after 7 p.m.June 14.
