Obituary

Jennie H. Badock, 90, of Fairhope, Belle Vernon, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002, in Cherry Tree Nursing Center, Uniontown. A daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Levandosky, she was born in Pittsburgh on Oct. 15, 1911. She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon and retired in 1965 after 15 years in the housekeeping department of the former Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Prior to her illness, she had resided in Fairhope for over 60 years. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John and Marcia Badock of Rostraver Township, a daughter and son-in-law, Eleanor and John Karap of White Oak, a brother, Edward Levandosky, and a sister, Virginia Barnot, both of Fairhope, four grandchildren, Yvonne Kelly and John Badock, both of Akron, Ohio, Crystal Karap of Baltimore, Md., and Alex Karap of Columbus, Ohio, and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Badock in 1947, three brothers, Stanley, Caesar and Zigmond Levandosky, and two sisters, Wanda Jaskowick and Faye Bilski. A blessing service will be held in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., a Golden Rule Member Firm, 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian R.C. Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
