Mrs.Jennie Shock Axton,86,died at her home on Marion St.in Belle Vernon on Tuesday,July 7,1959,at 4:45 p.m. Mrs.Axton was born in Pittsburgh on December 19,1872. She is survived by five sons,George of Hyattsville,Md.,James of Charleroi,William of Fayette City,R.D.,Jacob of Lowber and Robert of Ventura,Calif.,one daughter,Mrs.Harry (Lillian) Davis of Fairhope, 30 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at Ferguson Funeral Home in Belle Vernon after 7 p.m.Wednesday. Services from the funeral home in Belle Vernon will be on Saturday,July 11,1959, at 1 p.m.with the Rev.William Schatz,Belle Vernon Methodist Church,officiating. Burial in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
