Jean Graham Zackal; 84; formerly of Belle Vernon; died Friday; July 6; 2012; in Respi Care Center; Waynesburg; with Wayne and Betty Ann by her side. Born May 28; 1928; in Fayette City; she was a daughter of the late William Graham Sr. and Jane Love Harper Graham. She graduated from Rostraver High School in 1946. Jean was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon until three years ago when her health declined with dementia and recently end-stage dementia. She was a member of Little Redstone Presbyterian Church of Fayette City. She enjoyed spending time with her family and she also enjoyed ballroom dancing. She was a devoted mother; grandmother; great-grandmother and aunt. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law; Wayne and Betty Ann Zackal; of Garards Fort; three grandchildren; Heather Etner and husband; Martin; of Vienna; Va.; Carrie LaMere and husband; Rob; of Youngstown; Fla.; and Justin Zackal; of State College; seven great-grandchildren; Dylan Graham Etner; Lydia Etner; Steven LaMere; Zak LaMere; Elias LaMere; Rachel LaMere and Erik LaMere; brother; Gordon Graham; of Cheboygan; Mich.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Albert Red Zackal; brothers; Earl Graham; William Graham Jr.; Irwin Graham; Alexander Graham and eight days ago by her twin brother; Eugene Graham; sisters; Hazel Ambler; Agnes Bollens and Lillian Graham; and a great-grandson; Joshua Dietrich Etner. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME CREMATIONS; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon; 724-929-6183.
