Jean Kennedy Moran;405 Bluff St.;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;Oct.18;1978;at 11:30 p.m.in the Waynesboro Hospital. She was 87. Born June 3;1891 in Vesta;she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Jane Cheatham Kennedy. She had been a resident of Belle Vernon until the time of her illness;at which time she resided at the South Mountain Restoration Center. Mrs.Moran was a Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband;Daniel W.Moran;one daughter;Mary Jane Wickman;and several brothers and sisters. Mrs.Moran is survived by one son;Clive Moran of Pittsburgh;three daughters;Mrs.Jack (Norma Jean) Douhitt of Pittsburgh;and Mrs.Daniel (June) River and Miss Margaret E.Moran;both at home;four grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be on Saturday morning at 11 a.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.Charles Colas of the First Baptist Church in Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
