Janice B.holiday;61;of Kuhntown Road;Somerset;died Wednesday;May 13;1998;in Jefferson Hospital. Born Dec.30;1936;in North Charleroi;she was the daughter of Evelyn Biagini Bauer;who survives;and the late Ernest Bauer. Mrs.Holiday was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Parish;Monessen;the Annita Garibaldi Lodge of Belle Vernon;and the Eastern Star of Red Hook;N.Y. She lived in Somerset for the past year having resided in Monessen for 25 years. She retired in 1992 as an optician for the former Doctors Cherkin and Voight in Donora. In addition to her father;she was preceded in death by a son;Roderick Morgan Holiday;who died Aug.9;1986. Surviving;in addition to her mother;are her husband;James E.Holiday;one son and daughter-in-law;Erin Patrick and Danielle Holiday of Odenton;Md.;one daughter;Suzette Holiday of Crofton;Md.;a brother;Thomas A.Bauer of Lorain;Ohio;four grandchildren;Farrell Holiday DiBart;Taylor DiBart;Nicholas James Holiday and Jacquelyn Morgan Holiday. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. A prayer service will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home;followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of the Annita Garibaldi Lodge of Belle Vernon will conduct services in the funeral home at 3:15 p.m.;Friday.
