Obituary

Janice A. Brudnak Stewart, 63, of Belle Vernon, Washington Township, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at 9:35 a.m. in her home. Born Nov. 7, 1946, in North Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen Ruth Bochak Brudnak Stavinsky. A resident of Washingotn Township, Mrs. Stewart attended Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Belle Vernon, was a retired residential worker from Diversified Human Services and was an avid bingo player. She is survived by her husband, Richard A. Stewart, to whom she was married 39 years, daughter and son-in-law, Jamie L. and Brett Kerns, of Belle Vernon, son, Lee Stewart, of Belle Vernon, granddaughter, Lilly Kerns, brother, Barry Brudnak, of Belle Vernon, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marlene and Terry Goodman, of Michigan, and Jeanne and William Crowley, of Elwood City. She is preceded in death by her stepfather, Frank Stavinsky, and a brother, John Russe Brudnak. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Sept. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 15, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, (724) 929-6183. Services will be held Thursday at the funeral home at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Stephen J.
