Obituary

Janet M. Misenko, 59, of Tarpon Springs, Fla., died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, peacefully, going home to be with her Lord at Tarpon Bayou Center, Tarpon Springs. Born Sept. 26, 1950, in North Charleroi, she was the daughter of Edward R. and Betty E. Albright Misenko, who survive and reside in Belle Vernon. A resident of Tarpon Springs for the past 22 years, Janet was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church prior to moving to Florida. She was a restaurant owner and an avid Steelers fan who loved and enjoyed her niece and nephews and was liked by all her friends and caregivers at the nursing home, where she resided for the past three years. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sisters and brother-in-law, Kathryn Myers, of Belle Vernon and Carol and Pete Mazzei, of Belle Vernon, niece, Megan Myers, of Belle Vernon, two nephews, Chad and Aaron Mazzei, of Glenwood Springs, Colo. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, a brother-in-law, Timothy O. Myers, in 2009, paternal grandparents, Elizabeth and John Misenko, and maternal grandparents, Carrie and Harry Albright. Relatives and friends are asked to gather at St. Sebastian R.C. Church 11:30 a.m. Wednesday for a funeral Mass with the Rev. Lawrence L. Manchas, pastor, as celebrant. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, (724) 929-6183.
