Mrs.Gardner was born in Ellsworth on March 1;1939;a dughter of the late Joseph Ball and Beatrice Drozdik Ball Kontilak. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 25 years;she was a member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon. She was also a member of the Mon Valley Aces Bowling League. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by a granddaughter;Heather Gardner. Survivors include her husband;James Gardner; a son;James Robert Gardner at home;two daughters;Mrs. Mark (Janet) Ferrari of Monessen and Jill Lynn Gardner at home;a brother;Joseph Ball of Ellsworth;three sisters;Mrs. Fred (Beatrice) Gravely of the state of Washington;Mrs.Richard (Karen) Barish of Aliquippa;and Mrs.Leroy (Norene) Hustave of Ellsworth;and a granddaughter;Angela Marie Ferrari of Monessen. Friends will be received at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.Gerald Dye officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
