Obituary
Death onThursday,April 16,1925,removed one of the oldest and most respected residents of Belle Vernon when Mrs.Jane Wells,aged 76,answered the final summons at the home of her son Stewart Wells. She had been bedfast for the past two weeks and her death was not expected. The deceased is survived hy three daughters; Mrs.Thomas Meikle of Charleroi, Mrs. Charles Neillie of Cleveland and Mrs. Jack Robinson of Charleroi; four sons, William of Lock Four, and Stewart, David and Arthur, all of Belle Vemon,also one sister,Mrs.George Somerville of Cleveland and a brother, John Marks of England. Seventeen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will he held from the home at 2:30 Sunday afternoon in charge of Rev.Madtes with interment in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
