Born June 7;1917;in Irwin;she was a daughter of the late Joseph DeNoon and Mary Cochran Wampler. She was formerly of Pittsburgh and the Mon Valley;having lived in Belle Vernon from 1937 to 1964. A former member of the Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Kuhl had lived in Rocky River the past 9 1/2 years. She was a former member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 196 of Belle Vernon;of which she was a past matron and a 50 year member. Survivors include her husband;Andrew H.Kuhl;with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage on April 24;one son and daughter-in-law;Andrew D.and Caroline Kuhl of Lakewood;Ohio;one sister;Mrs.Floyd (Maryjo) Sollenberger of Chambersburg;two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev.Ross Bash;interim pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
